1^st scientific meeting on complex plan of scientific research (CPSR) project development in the framework of the Program of fundamental scientific research of the state academies of science for 2013-2020 on the topic “Ecological, social and economic threats of forest degradation in Russia under global change and ways to prevent it” – CPSR “Forest” was held on February, 2, 2017.

50 specialists of forest science from 14 institutes of FASO Russia and representatives of higher education took part in the meeting.

Following topics were discussed:

1. Formation of the CPSR “Forest” project.
2. Contents and applicability of scientific topics and activities of the CPSR “Forest” project.
3. Infrastructural elements of the CPSR “Forest” project.
