Sixth all-Russia scientific conference (with international participation) «Remote sensing and geoinformational technologies in forestry and forest management» was held in Moscow on 20-22 April, 2016. Main challenges of terrestrial ecosystems (including forests) assessment and monitoring by remote sensing and GIS-technologies were discussed.
